Value
Introducing Value . . . As the Shenandoah valley prospered from the surrounding apple orchards owned by families like the Whitacres at Shawnee Springs, Winchester was busy building a new public high school with a bequest left to the town by Judge John Handley. The industrial revolution was in full swing, and the hot metal linotype allowed printers to set a WHOLE LINE OF TYPE on a keyboard, not in a composing stick anymore, imagine that! This invention gave value to consumers reading the newspapers because news could be produced and printed not only faster but cheaper-two things we all look for today when buying a product. We still use the linotype to imprint labels because the pressure of the metal can crack through the varnish already on many preprinted labels. We add value to our clients businesses by giving them a product that increases their sales, which in turn is reflected in their bottom line.
