 | | Reliability began in 1857. . . .
When two friends started both a newspaper and a print shop. These two guys were so reliable that they were entrusted with the task of printing money . . . . something print shops did back in those days when a handshake was as good as a legal document. After a brief sojourn as privates during the Civil War, when Winchester changed hands over 70 times, our two heroes returned to work, printing billheads, books and posters on the old Pearl hand fed letterpress, which we used just last week to die-cut some report covers. . . . a museum piece at work in our front lobby. We think it's important to note that the technology responsible for the invention of the reliable Pearl press has been utilized and now updated to use in today's work environment whenever it's applicable and cost effective.
